I had a couple of pounds of peeled tails from the boil so I made a pie.
Thats a couple of onions, celery, red bell, garlic, green onion, tasso, grape tomatoes, a tbsp of cream cheese, 1/4 cup cream, 1/2 cup of panko, and some of the powder boil spice cooked for about 15 minutes.
After the mixture cooled I added the 2lbs of parboiled tails, more fresh green onion, and three eggs. This mixture was poured into two blind baked Pillsbury pie doughs formed in a glass pie pan. Baked them for another 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

I did fix a nice ol' pot-roast this weekend, but forgot to take pics. I guess there's not so much to do, and only one kinda-unique ingredient.
In your crock-pot place a roast; a little salt on top. Just chop up a big onion into large slices, quarter some red potatoes, add some sliced carrots and celery, and drop all of that inside. Now the special ingredient --- French Onion Soup in a can. In it goes, now cook for several hours. When ready to serve, drain off some juice (maybe half or more that's in the crock) into a pan and raise the heat, sprinkling in some flour to thicken it up. Slice up the roast, grab some of the veggies, and drip on the gravy. Umm good.
Also fixed some chocolate-chip muffins that came out pretty delish too -- simple recipe, no fancy mixing equipment needed. I should snap a pic of those before they are all gone ....
