Its that time again, at least until Dec. 7th. Currently have Medicare with supplemental PPO plan where for medical I pay no co-pays andneed no referrals, plus a prescription drug policy from a different company... Hoping that I don't get dropped on the medical side now that the rules have been changed to allow insurance companies to drop customers based on previous conditions.
Open enrollment time, knowing what I know about my current drug cost and possible new different perhaps even more expensive drugs, requires a lot of research. Looks like my out of pocket, if the drug list remains the same, (will be in the dreaded donut-hole by end of April), somewhere over $4k next year.
