Found these videos on another site, posted by/about Jimmy Lewis board construction... interesting info on how its done by professionals. The shaping has been done to the EPS foam core, long surf-board and SUP same construction process.
Adding a Fin Box, block:
Finishing the Fin Box and start the glassing process (Poor mans Vacuum system)
Part 3, Top Side...
Step 4, Fairing, Fin Box, Carry Handle, Leash Plug, and Vent Plug
Grinding, cleanup, laminate caps on the finbox, leash plug, and handle, leveling, logo.. Hot Coat.
Dude sure makes it look easy... comes form experience building hundreds of boards, gotta love the sound of those resin encrusted crocs. I do some repairs but I would never go near my boards with a 5000 rpm grinder.

Yet another video about glassing a board... (kinda more relevant to SandUpSurf boards but good info).
Bert Burger discusses flex and spring.
At 6:30 he explains the difference between stringerless boards and ones with stringers. His "parabolic rails" provide the "stringer on the rails.... not the center.
PU = Polyurethane PS = PolyStyrene EPS = Expanded PolyStyrene
