Not sure if this is the right area to post this, but just a health tip for all the anglers here:
Went to the Derm Dr. today, after putting off checking two spots on my arm. Turns out she had to freeze off 5 pre-cancerous spots, and shave and send for biopsy two moles on my back and chest, that never see the sun. Take the time to get checked once a year, for sure. Especially here in FL, you don't want to take any chances.
Got my check-up a month ago, and go once a year. Only one slight cut for a mole in my back 3-4 years ago, everything else good. Dr. says my skin looks great compared to most (but of course he's seeing the really bad cases). I wear big brimmed hats and full sleeves/legs. But probably anything that is coming up now is from my youth when I was always in the sun (surfing, swimming, fishing) with little or no sun-screen .....
I'm up to two times a year after having one cut off my spine last July. Dr. said I was lucky as this one was on it's way to melanoma. It's not just the sun we get now, think about all the sunburns you got as a kid.
