And Bones, Snapper, Tarpon, Permit, Grouper...
Well the recent tropical weather has kept Ulysses close to home. Biscayne Bay that is. Ulysses is reporting schools of Permit and on a recent trip missed his BBay Grand slam by one measly Permit. He had a lot of shots but couldn't pull one out of the schools he was spotting.
I'm not sure if seeing a Flamingo in BBay is rare but I think it is. And maybe a good sign for the health of our bay. The fish that Ulysses is catching is certainly a good sign. Ulysses is my hero even if he is taking other people fishing.
Yes he is! Hey Uly were you on the barrier islands or along the western shoreline. Connie wants to know where you saw that flamingo.
hi Viv, the area where I saw the flamingo was ocean side of Eliot key there is a section that the grass is dark like the West Bank, she was by herself with some spoonbills that where not far from her, I tell you if I had a profesional camara I would be getting some great shots of the wildlife , I encounter some amazing stuff out on the water.
