I hesitate to recommend this, but I know a few might find it interesting.
Recently released on Netflix, although it is a few years old, is a different kind of flyfishing movie(?) called "Kiss the water. The art of flyfishing".
There is a lot about flyfishing that goes beyond casting, tying flies, and catching fish. There is a history, and that leads back to different parts of the world, where, believe it or not, flyfishing is not only accepted as normal, but appreciated.
So... warning... if your taste in flyfishing videos tends toward whirling drags and acrobatic slow motion jumping fish with a rock music sound track... this movie is NOT for you.
This video does give a different perspective, and illuminate a bit of the history, culture, and artistry. It is part documentary, part art film and part go-pro video... quite unique.
